From August 5-6, the 6th Urban Water Safety and Water Management Academic Symposium, organized by the Urban Water Committee of the China Hydraulic Engineering Society, "China Flood Control and Drought Relief" Magazine, and the Flood Control and Drought Relief Disaster Mitigation Engineering Technology Research Center (Disaster Defense Center) of the Ministry of Water Resources, was successfully held in Tianjin. Tang Chengfeng, President of Istrong Technology, was invited to participate and make a keynote report, and was also elected as the Deputy Director of the Urban Water Committee of the China Hydraulic Engineering Society.

The symposium, themed 'Innovating Urban Water Science Theories to Facilitate the Coordinated Development of Cities and Basins', focused on eight major topics: 'Comprehensive Prevention and Control of Urban Flooding Disasters', 'Comprehensive Response to Urban and Rural Drought and Water Scarcity', 'Urban Hydraulics and Water Informatics', 'Smart Water Services and Digital Twin Basins', 'Urban Water Environment Monitoring and Management', 'Sponge City Construction Universal Model', 'Optimization of Urban Water Project Dispatching', 'Urban Water Ecological Landscape and Water Culture'. The goal was to focus on new ideas and concepts in urban water management under new circumstances, further enhancing the ability of cities to respond to climate change and sudden disasters.
Keynote Report
