On the morning of June 20th, Yang Guozong, Secretary of the Dali Prefecture Party Committee in Yunnan Province, along with Bian Zhihang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of Fujian Electronic Information Group, held a working discussion on the cooperation matters related to "Digital Dali" and jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.
Yang Guozong welcomed Bian Zhihang and his team on behalf of the Prefecture Party Committee and Government. He introduced Dali's advantages, development prospects, and the "14th Five-Year Plan". He noted that Dali, with its historical and cultural heritage, beautiful landscapes, and regional resources, has become an important engine for current socio-economic development. Fujian Electronic Information Group is a state-owned sole asset management company and investment platform in the electronic information industry, established and funded by the Fujian Provincial People's Government. Istrong Technology Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Fujian Electronic Information Group.
According to the agreement, Istrong Technology Co., Ltd. will establish the "Istrong Digital Ecology (Dali) Research Institute". Centered around "digital empowerment of comprehensive ecological governance covering mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands, and sands," the institute will be a highly integrated institution of think tank research, digital technology R&D and application promotion, and education and training. With scenario applications as the entry point, the institute will extend and promote in-depth research and applications in digital empowerment of water conservancy, agriculture and rural areas, tourism, natural resources, disaster prevention and reduction, providing comprehensive disaster reduction and benefit information services.
