On March 24, the "2023 Digital City Forum" and "2023 Emergency Management Informatization Forum" organized by the China Information Association were held in Beijing. The "Shandong Province Natural Disaster Comprehensive Monitoring and Early Warning System" jointly declared by the Shandong Provincial Emergency Management Department and ISTRONG, was strictly selected and awarded the "2022-2023 Emergency Management Informatization Innovation Achievement and Practical Case" title. It has also been included in the "2023 Digital City Innovation Achievements and Practical Case Compilation."

The project puts more emphasis on "prevention" and considers improving monitoring and early warning capabilities as an essential support for prevention. It strengthens the integration of data from multiple departments, forming a provincial disaster prevention and mitigation big data center, timely risk assessment, and control to minimize disaster risks. The system provides office environment protection for the Emergency Management Department and other relevant departments in carrying out comprehensive monitoring and early warning work, transforming from "individual battles" to "joint defense" through a unified system.

Since its launch, the system has been tested in real-world scenarios such as typhoons, heavy rain, and forest fire risks. During the 2022 flood season, the system promptly issued warnings and initiated responses through joint consultations and analysis, making preparations for typhoon and heavy rainfall prevention. It effectively responded to adverse weather conditions such as Typhoon Sanda and Typhoon Meihua, as well as heavy rain, reducing casualties and property losses.

In the future, ISTRONG will continue to delve into the field of disaster reduction and profit informatization. It will continue to research and develop useful and user-friendly disaster reduction and profit informatization platforms that can be utilized in real-world situations.
